I know this place is kind of a hole in the wall, but if you get past the cover of the book, the food is sure to satisfy. When i was pregnant with my first son (11 years ago) i couldn't get enough. I call the place China get down because I can get down on some of that. Lol. I've lived in arnold for years now, but the food is worth the trip. Can't go wrong with  China Express.

Restaurant is clean, but the food tastes of nothing. Staff is polite and helpful, but can't make up for boring food. It tastes like no one really cared when they were making it. It has no flavor and lacks much of a meat component. Overall, not worth a trip over the river.

A decent Chinese buffet. I've seen places with more and it was a little odd that the rice was on the side in a rice cooker and not in a tray in the buffet. The food though, was still good quality and tasted good, just not a large selection. The dinner buffet was a little pricey in my opinion for what you got but I liked that they had a 'to-go buffet' option where you could fill up your styrofoam container with goodies from the buffet and they pay. Interesting concept I hadn't seen before

Very reasonable and the food is great. They have a great selection of items that are fresh and homemade.

Really nice buffet and always busy so they must be pretty good. The bbq ribs and mushrooms ate the standouts ino. The fried rice is pretty good but China House (the orange building in Washington Park) is better. You can also get the buffet to go; just fill your playe and they'll weigh it and price is based on the weight.
